About Indian Wrist Group
In 1963, the Wrist brand was started by Mr. Kanha Shetty and registered its own trademark protection. However, at this early stage, his company was called Wrist Wooden Company.

In 1969, the company was transformed into a joint stock company and three more board members were Mr. Kutch Shetty, Mr Mrs Danaus and Ms Lilac Thind. At this time, WRIST’s total investment reached $ 39,960,000, and Mr. Kanha still held 54.2% of the shares and was the chairman of the board.

In 1974, after the company’s high-end box products were very popular and sold with great sales in Europe and America, it was time that Wrist Company officially rose and became a big corporation in India with the name INDIAN WRIST GROUP. This is an important moment not only a strong transformation, but even in 1974, the WRIST branded products have been exported to 69 countries around the world.

Since then, the Wrist Group has consistently invested in expanding its production scale, adding significant revenue to the national budget of India, creating 50,000 jobs for indigenous peoples, with 68.5% of total capital is spent on producing high-grade handicrafts for exporting. This is one of the important marks that Wrist Group has grown up today.
